WAR DESK — City Extra. Overnight into Thursday, 10 September 2026, Russian attack drones hit the industrial city of Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. This file is a single-city municipal wrap. It does not merge with the Kyiv Darnytskyi high-rise Extra or the Novorossiysk claim-split Extra. Different city. Different claim set. PATH /war/kryvyi-rih-drone-attack-sep10.
ATTRIB mayor — Oleksandr Vilkul, attributed by RBC-Ukraine as the city’s mayor and carried across Ukrainian wraps as head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, said Russian attack drones struck five locations in the Central City (Tsentralno-Miskyi) and Saksahanskyi districts. Firefighting, he said, was ongoing at two of those sites. Emergency rescue operations were underway at the strike locations. That five-site / two-district frame is the municipal geography locked for this Extra.
Five locations. Two districts. Two injured, mayor’s words. Homes and schools in the damage list.
Injured — locked to mayor. Vilkul wrote that two people were injured — one in serious condition, one in moderate condition. Both were in surgery; doctors were providing necessary assistance. That two-injured line is the locked casualty figure for this Extra. Do not invent a death toll for this overnight Kryvyi Rih hit. Do not bump the injured count without a fresh Vilkul or municipal update. No names, ages, or hospital IDs on this page.
Damage picture — housing, education, business. Vilkul’s account, as reported by RBC-Ukraine and matched by Mezha and Glavcom wraps, says the attack damaged private homes and apartment buildings, plus educational, cultural, and business facilities. Fires were reported on premises tied to residential buildings, educational institutions, and businesses. Extra does not invent street addresses, school names, shop names, or blast radii. The municipal categories — housing, education, culture, business — are the attributed damage set.
Municipal aid lane. Vilkul also told residents an emergency response center would be set up near the nearest fountain — a landmark locals would recognize — with construction materials, applications for city aid, and utility crews. That is a municipal logistics note, not a second casualty ledger and not a revised injury count.
Why this Extra stays separate. Readers scrolling Last Hour get a clear Kryvyi Rih plate: industrial city under drones, five municipal hit points, education and business in the damage line beside housing, mayor’s two-injured surgery update, rescue and firefighting still active. Kyiv Darnytskyi’s six-hurt high-rise stays on /war/kyiv-darnytskyi-drone-highrise-6-hurt. Novorossiysk stays on its own claim-split URL. Starokozache’s two dead stay on the Moldova-crossing Extra. No embroidery across desks.
Photo and video. The hero is a rights-clear archival still — Tiia Monto, Kryvyi Rih view, Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 3.0, dated 11 August 2013, near the industrial area. Location plate only. It is not attack-day aftermath, not fire, not debris, and not an SES handout. VIDEO=no. Extra does not republish RBC-Ukraine, Mezha, Glavcom, or SES copy wholesale as product.
Guardrails. Does not invent fatalities for this 10 September Kryvyi Rih attack. Does not change the injured count from Vilkul’s two without a sourced municipal update. Does not invent victim names, ages, or hospital IDs. Does not merge this Extra with Kyiv Darnytskyi, Novorossiysk, or Starokozache files. Does not caption the 2013 Wikimedia cityscape as 10 September 2026 fire or debris.
CLAIM vs CONFIRMED. CONFIRMED as municipal attribution via RBC-Ukraine / Mezha / Glavcom wraps of Vilkul: five strike locations in Central City and Saksahanskyi; fires at two sites; rescue ongoing; damage to private homes and apartment buildings plus educational, cultural, and business facilities; two injured — one serious, one moderate — both in surgery; emergency aid center near nearest fountain. NOT here: any death toll; any named school or shop; any merge with Kyiv Darnytskyi or Novorossiysk. FALSE framing — do not use: “Nth Meridian confirms deaths in Kryvyi Rih overnight” or a blended Kyiv–Kryvyi Rih casualty sheet. Nailed down, 10 September 2026, 02:55 GMT.
